We are looking for a Technical Marketing Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products.

We are looking for a:

Technical Marketing Writer (F/M)

Your key responsibilities:

Creation, adaptation and optimisation of technical product documentation (hardware, software, service)
Writing customer application stories/testimonials
Development of messaging to position SmartRay company and products in line with the marketing strategy
Generation of marketing content to support online and offline marketing campaigns eg. whitepapers, how-to-guides, datasheets, product guides, expert guides and videos
Research and document technical facts, creating news articles for international press distribution in co-operation with other departments (R&D, Product Management, Sales & Service)
Plan and execute communication plan for social media channels
Co-ordinate and organisation of translations

Your profile:

Completed training with a technical journalistic background (eg. Industrial engineer, journalism, marketing)
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable to the intended audience
Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
At least 2 years’ experience in Marketing and/or PR in B2B environment
Proven work experience in technical writing of software documentation is desirable
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, ideally with experience of content management systems
Excellent written and communication skills in English (mother-tongue) and German
